I wonder if Adobe will incorporate an autosave option.
I managed still to take a crappy photo with my crappy camera. The computer crashed exactly when i was getting into the "zone" . Getting into the "zone" is addictive, just like adrenaline and any other natural or artificial drug. So like a proper junkye I couldn't let it go... Anyway, the noise of the camera gave some weird colors aberration to the image and in collaboration with the color piker produced some unexpected results. Have to experiment with this a little more.

Late night speed studies before sleep

Just bought a set of fountain pens and some watercolors. I really wanted for a long time to combine the two . Here are the first results. Fast studies drawings after reference, 5-6 minutes , focusing on referencing the photos and not copying them. In order to increase one rate of success first have to increase the rate of failures (can't remember who said that first but i liked it a lot).

Italy Sketches

Time to break the ice...not an easy task. The first painting is a depiction of how I remember a village that i had the chance to visit in Italy region of Toscana (what a beautiful country).First I did lots of small drawings on the spot trying to fix as many details in my brain and on the paper. Those are very fast and tiny drawings, under 3 minutes, not because I am a particularly big fan of fast sketching, but because august in Italy is super hot and I really abused the patience of my friends.After all spending your hard won holiday watching a lunatic making stupid marks on paper at 40 degrees is not the best way to spend your free days.

The color painting is done after i came back to the dark and rainy Germany, leaving the sea, the sun, the good weather and good food behind, as a way or experiencing the holidays again but this time without the sweat the flies and the angry friends.Sometimes the memories feel more real then the reality itself and more comfortable, for sure!
